Message from the President
August - September 2007

Hi Friends,

I really hope to see everyone at our 33rd Annual Horse Show being held at the Deerfield Fairgrounds in Deerfield, NH on August 10, 11 and 12th. I’m encouraging all of our members to come out and watch this fantastic show. Who doesn’t love to watch the Native Costume classes! We have 2 days of dressage and lots of sport horse classes too. So, even if showing isn’t your thing, come out and support your club! We’re also hosting a Pig Roast as a fund raiser this year, complete with a display of Belly Dancing! You can sign up for the Pig Roast dinner online.  I’m sure the food will be great and then you can sit down and watch the Saturday evening events.

Thanks to our volunteers who are assisting with gates and the dressage details. It’s not too late to take part. Please contact Sarah Theroux if you have some time to spare over the weekend to help out! Sarah’s number is: 603-878-6020

The Dressage Clinic in July, instructed by Janet Briggs, was a lot of fun for the participants and the auditors. Thanks go out to Sue Levesque, for once again making her facility available to us. We hope to do more of these kinds of events in the future.

Wanted a few good trail riders! The club would love to host a fall trail ride but we need a couple of brave volunteers to set it up. Anyone up for the challenge? If so, please contact me for help with the details!
