NH Arabian Horse Association Newsletter
June - July 2007
(A shorter version will be in the August 2007 Equine Journal)
Hello Friends,
Summer is heating up and so are our club activities. Right around the corner on July 8th is our first ever dressage clinic. I think you’ll find that this is going to be a great opportunity to ride your horse and advance your skills or just come to audit the event. Either way, you’re bound to go home motivated and smiling! Feel free to bring a friend, we welcome all breeds and all levels of participants, from beginner to expert.
If you missed the beach ride, look at some of the fun photos that were taken by Bill Fish and his wife, Linda. Bill Fish of Bill Fish Photography donated his time to the club and we really appreciate it. Please check out Bill’s website at www.BillFishPhoto.PhotoReflect.com
August 10, 11 and 12th, The 33rd Annual Horse Show is always a lot of fun. Please come by and support your club! Even if you don’t show your horse we’d love to visit and I know you’ll enjoy watching some of our most beautiful horses performing at the Deerfield Fairgrounds.
Volunteers, volunteers, volunteers!! We still need a couple strong people to assist in setting up the dressage arena for the show. Please contact Sarah Theroux if you can help! Email to: or call Sarah at (603) 878-6020.
Something new at the show this year that you can participate in regardless if you’re an exhibitor or not is a Hawaiian Luau on Saturday night (8/11/07). Leah Valladares and her Belly Dancing group will be performing and we’re hosting a real Pig Roast.
Update: Sadly, and with regrets, Leah cannot be at the show to perform her Belly Dancing
Come and join the fun. For those exhibitors who are too busy preparing for Saturday night’s classes we’re even offering delivery service to your barn! Now, where else can you find that kind of personal service? To sign up for the dinner, please download the form and and mail it to me, Laurel Bissonnette, 28 Sanderson Dr. Pittsfield, NH 03263 or click here and sign up online. (Since you're already here, what could be more convenient than using the online sign-up? Give it a try!)
Cost of the dinner is $20 for adults and $12 for kids and includes free entertainment and:
- Fresh roasted Pork
- Side Salad
- Rolls and butter
- Coffee/Soda
- Dessert
For more information on any of these exciting events, or if you’d like to volunteer, please check our website at www.nharab.org or contact me, Laurel Bissonnette (603) 435-9393 or email at
