From the President - January 2007
Please join me in thanking our outgoing board members, June Barber
and Julie Dulac. June has served as our president for the past few years
and will now be stepping down. She plans to continue representing our
club at the Region 16 events. Julie has served the club for over 9
years! Thanks to both women who have worked so hard to keep the club
going.
I'm Laurel Bissonnette, your new president. Kathy Wilber has stepped up
to take over the job as treasurer as well as continuing her role as
webmaster. We welcome three new board of directors, Sarah Theroux and
Karen Malloy and as an alternate Ethel "Wuff" Nye.
Skeeter Combs, remains our vice president. Cheryl Crawford continues to
do a fabulous job with membership. Judy Poirier stays on as club
secretary and Sue Levesque continues to run the Youth Program. And last
but not least, there wouldn't be a show if it weren't for Christy Balch.
It takes members to run this club and keep it active. The board is here
to oversee the financial and business activities but I'd really like to
persuade everyone to take a more active role in making the club fun! I'm
looking for ideas for events and meetings.
We also need volunteers for the horse show in August. If you are
willing to work a gate or help at the dressage ring, please contact me
or any of the board members and we'll get you signed up!
Let's make 2007 a great year for The New Hampshire Arabian Horse
